The state-of-the-art Philips Achieva Quasar Dual 16 Ch 3T MRI scanner features an ultra-compact, actively shielding, super-conducting magnet. Through the use of superior dual gradient system and high-performance digital RF system, the 3T system delivers cutting-edge whole-body 3T imaging with real time control of RF transmission, gradient switching, data acquisition and triggering.

The 3T system includes:

  • Ultra short 60 cm tunnel length, large FOV up to 50 cm.
  • Dual mode gradient performance - 40 mT/m @ 200 mT/m/ms or 80 mT/m @ 100 mT/m/ms.
  • High order shimming capabilities - first (x,y,z) and second order (x2-y2,z2,xy,xz,yz).
  • 16 independent digital receiver channels.
  • RF coils:
    - SENSE-Head-8-ch coil
    - SENSE-NV-16 coil
    - SENSE-Spine-15 coil
